Powerhouses

Okay so I did the first one and now I can't stop LOL
But, this has gotten me drawing a bunch of the other Sonic characters that I don't draw as often so it's not all bad! xD The characters aren't in any particular pairs, just whoever comes to mind first, haha! I've only done the guys as of this far, and have a few more to go, but I'll probably end up doing the girls too XD  So I guess you could call this a series? 
The main purpose of this has just been to play with the body types of the different characters as I see them.  Typically, in the Sonic style there is little to no variation in body type, but I really enjoy thinking about what a character's personality says about their appearance. 

Mighty, for example, is the same typical physical powerhouse that he always has been.  He has a bit more definition on him, shoulders and chest specifically. He's got big arms and big legs, because you can't flip tanks without least a little bit of stability!  I like the direction they took with him in the comics, trying to contain his fighting nature because of how purely strong he is.  Despite his size and his brawn, he is a gentle soul by nature... But that doesn't change the fact that he gets a thrill out of winning and takes pride in his battle scars.
Silver on the other hand is considerably scrawny in comparison to say, Sonic.  Sonic is lean, but Silver is outright puny looking and definitely rough around the edges, given he comes from the apocalyptic future and there aren't exactly abundant resources....Or showers.  However, experience in surviving the land that he lives in helped hone his greatest skill, stamina-- both physical and mental.  All the years spent practicing his powers gave him incredible mental endurance, and his determination in that area spread to his physical state as well. He's also missing a tooth because you can't tell me it's not cute.
